Another assignment of a display lighting kit with any bulb type you choose. Well, I've chosen the first incandescent bulb.

Simple materials to construct this lighting kit. I just love the shadows it created. Was so blunt before getting this idea.. so was quite surprised with this quick-idea outcome. :D :D

My concept
The basic typology of lighting - bulbs, plugs, sockets and flex – are used to such intense effect that it takes on a surreal form.

The electrical cable (in red) snakes around the walls, emerging to form tangled clusters and nests.

The screen image of a light bulb transmits a constant glow, mirroring the physical bulb with its digital equivalent. The light bulb is both archetype and icon.

But it is the space between objects, rather than form, that inspires. The cable forms an umbilical connection between the power source and bulb, giving life to the lights.

that's a very interesting idea... it kinda fascinates me how something so... artificial like electrical cables can create such a warm feeling... when I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was wood and it surprised me that what I thought was nature, turned out as the opposite.
Very pretty =)
